Dr. Abdul Rahman is one of the luminaries among the clinicians in the field of Ayurveda in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Through his lectures he had inspired and guided many Ayurvedic and non Ayurvedic scholars from various parts of the world. After completing his post-graduation in Ayurveda, he practised in Kerala. In Bahrain, he runs two Ayurvedic centers by name Vaidyaratnam Ayurvedic center, and he is the chief physician at the center. He was the first post graduate doctor to practise in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is the only non-Bahraini doctor practising Hijama in Bahrain. He is also the member of Committee for Ayurveda at the National Health Regulatory Authority (N.H.R.A). There are several radio, newspaper articles to his credit.
